Go to Darrell Farnham

The 187 Alumni Association was saddened to learn of the recent deaths of two 187 Eagle Scouts. James W. Scheafer and Edward Carlson.

Jim received his Eagle in 1949 and was the 14th Eagle in Troop 187. Jim served the community as a United Church of Christ minister until his retirement a few years ago.

Ed was awarded his Eagle in 1949 and was the 15th Eagle in Troop 187. Ed recently attended the 75th Anniversary Reunion and told stories of his adventures in the BWCA and Quetico (see photo). Both remained loyal to Troop 187 and cheerfully served when they were needed. We want to express our sympathy to the families of these 187 Eagle Scouts. Troop 187 Alumni Association, Inc.
