Spaghetti Dinner overview
Overview
This is a tradition, usually held in April on a Wednesday night at Mayflower from 5:30p.m.-8p. The adults cook the spaghetti and get the sauce ready the night before the dinner so we only have to heat up the pasta and sauce the next night. Included in the meal is pasta with a choice of meat or meatless sauce, bread, butter, salad and drinks. We have grated Parmesan cheese and salad dressings, too. For ambiance we play Italian opera and songs from Tony Bennet, Frank Sinatra, and Dean Martin. Many parishoners look forward to this evening every year. It is also a meeting place for Alumni with them frequently taking over an entire table to talk about current Troop events and rehash old times. An event not to be missed!
