Donations

Generosity continues to be a 187 Alum trait.  Even when there is not a specific request, various alumni continue to send checks.  Your donations are what provide both the Boy Scout Troop, Pack, and Venture Crew with equipment, training, and resources required to recruit new members, provide unique scouting programs and activities, and support and maintain the operation, buildings, and infrastructure of Camp St. Croix.   

Remember all contributions are 100% tax decutable! 

187 Alumni Association is current with federal tax filings and yearly registration with Minnesota and maintains its non-profit status.

 

Standing Funds

Many Moons Foundation (Camp St. Croix Camperships)

  • Three full and two partial scholarship paid in 2010
  • One scholarship supported a scout of the Askov Troop
  • One full and one partial scholarship paid in 2011

 

Tax Relief Fund - established to pay yearly property taxes

  • Property taxes in 2010 were $2,200

 

Mark Douglas Foundation (Leadership Fund)

  • 2010 construction of showers for the Venture Crew at Camp St. Croix
  • 2010 camp deficit
  • 2011 Friends of Scouting Donation
  • 2011 Camp St. Croix Property Insurance ~$2,400
